Bill Lake writes the kind of short, sharp, darkly surprising jokes that you can't wait to tell to your friends.

All while looking like he'd be a decent human being. 

Bill has headlined at venues across the Northeast, including The National Comedy Center. He has opened for Dusty Slay on his Night Shift theater tour, and has featured for Tom Green, Gabriel Rutledge, Dana Gould and many others.

Bill has performed at numerous comedy festivals including the Boston Comedy Festival and the Asheville Comedy Festival.

Before beginning his standup career at age 53, Bill was a contributing joke writer for the Late Show with David Letterman, the Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and Saturday Night Live.
